 Many students are unprepared for school because they are leaving materials at home.  Please encourage your child to be responsible!  Also, many students need new ELA Notebooks due to all the pages being used up.  Please check to see if your child needs one!

IMPORTANT DATES

Attention All Fourth Grade Parents!

ü  Students should take home all notebooks (ELA, Soc. St., Math, Science), folders (ELA/Soc. St. & Math/Science), appropriate textbooks, planner, and pencil pouch each day.

ü  Please refer to the student planner for homework assignments, tests/quizzes, projects, events, notes, etc.  You may also check our web pages for this information.

ü  Students should complete all homework in the correct subject notebook unless it’s a practice sheet or changed by the teacher.

ü  Students SHOULD NOT remove any pages from the notebooks; use it for doodling, etc. 

ü  Students NEED to make sure that they are working in the correct notebook when completing assignments.

ü  Please review skills for the week in the notebook each day.

ü  Please make sure that your child has ONLY the following in his/her pencil pouch:

• 1 glue stick
• Scissors
• 5 sharpened pencils with extra erasers
• Colored pencils
• 4 highlighters (different colors)
• Pencil sharpener

ü  Signed papers will be sent home in planners on Wednesdays beginning Sept. 5^th!  Please review them with your child and return them by Friday of each week.

ü  Weekly Testing Schedule

• Thursday – Spelling/Grammar Test
• Friday – Reading Story/Vocab. Test, Cold Text Quiz
• Math, Science, & Soc. St. tests will be announced upon completion of chapter/unit…check in planners for dates!
